We went night diving at Blue Heron Bridge this week and found some interesting fish in the sargassum floating near our entry way. It was challenging keeping track of subjects. The lens was often blocked by a clump of weed shifting through the scene. We were able to image two sargassum frogfish, one small and one medium sized, a juvenile mahi mahi, a puffer fish and some filefish. There were also plenty of cool crabs, shrimp and other miscellaneous fish hiding in the jumbled weed. It was worth spending 1/2 our dive there.
