Angela Smith and I worked with video shot by John Casagrande to tell the story of Shark Team One’s conservation trip to a remote underwater bank in the Bahamas. They discovered multiple pregnant 15 foot female tiger sharks! The sharks are safe within the borders of The Bahamas National Shark Sanctuary but once they swim toward the East Coast, they are fair game for United States commercial fishermen. The BLUE Ocean Film Festival and Conservation Summit selected Fight For Survival as a Finalist for their upcoming November 2016 show with Honorable Mention in the Shorts Category.
