John found another fish at Blue Heron Bridge that was on our wish list – the Pancake Batfish! I was already out of the water with my fins off and dive flag wrapped up when John waved me over to a spot just off the beach. It was very late at night and he was trying to keep his eyes on this rare find so I could shoot some images. 15 minutes later we came out of the water smiling and happy to have seen yet another cool fish at the bridge.
